Limited Warranty General Terms & Conditions

PC DEPOT® Limited Warranty covers from the start date of purchase and any purchased items / products can only be returned for warranty purpose. Kindly please check the products compatibility / requirement before purchasing. Goods sold are non-refundable or exchangeable.

Besides, PC DEPOT® Limited Warranty only covers against hardware manufacturing defects for the time and periods and as set forth below

Service charges, software, free gifts or goods sold with zero amounts (RM0.00), goods that sold AS IS or WITH ALL FAULT, consumable items (such as fuses, batteries, recordable discs, ink, ribbons, toner), networking accessories are not covered by this Limited Warranty.

For Other Products: For a period of 12 months from the original date of purchase of the product, PC DEPOT® will, at its option, repair or replace with new or refurbished product or parts, any product or parts determined to be defective.

Pursuant to this Limited Warranty, in the event of defect to the product, PC DEPOT® will, at its option:-
(i) Repair the product using new or refurbished parts in the same or different brand; or
(ii) Replace the product with a new or refurbished product in the same or different brand.
For the purpose of this Limited Warranty, “refurbished” means a product or part that has been returned to its original specifications.


Online Warranty Process

Instructions: To obtain warranty service, you MUST follow below steps;

  1. Login to your account using your username & password. Help
  2. Go to Order History page, search the item Order no. that you wish to send warranty. Help
  3. Click on the "Sending Warranty" button and fill in the form completely.
    Notes:
    ** Only 1 item can be select at 1 form (if you have several items need to send warranty please fill in at separate form)
    ** Please fill in clearly and correctly before submit to us.
    After submit the warranty claim form to us, please allow 1-2 working days for warranty product detail checking, then we send via email for the Warranty Number & sending address. Help
  4. After submit the warranty claim form, at Warranty Status page will automiticaly display the product and the status as "Pending" Help
  5. After received the Warranty Number & sending address via email, please attach the Warranty Number together with photocopy of proof of purchase with defective product when sending to PC DEPOT®.
  6. Deliver the product, including its accessories, freight prepaid, in either its original packaging or packaging affording an equal degree of protection to the products in its original packaging. (postage & risk will be borne by customer)
  7. Warranty product update can be check at warranty status page, PC DEPOT® will update the status as below:
    Pending, Processing, Delivered, Reject
  8. After PC DEPOT® received the warranty product, we will send a notification email to you. Besides that the product status at Warranty Status page will change to "Processing". Help
  9. Labor charge will be applied if the warranty is over and part replacement fee will be advised ahead via phone or email before the repair by our vendor/supplier/service center.
  10. Once the warranty product has been successfully shipped to you via Poslaju Malaysia / Skynet courier, we will notify the tracking number of the parcels via email. Besides that the product status at Online Warranty page will change to "Delivered". Help

Terms & Conditions

  1. For item without / over warranty / non PCDepot's (PKU's) products / etc., warranty services fee is chargeable.
  2. For faulty or defective product, return shipping cost will be borne by PC DEPOT® while self-induced damage or over 1 year warranty product will be borne by customer.
  3. Minimum charges of RM0.00 shall be imposed in the event the customer refuses to repair after a verbal or printed quotation has been given. We cover only hardware problem and hardware defect due to manufacturing issues. Other problems such as configuration, networking and etc. is chargeable.
  4. We are not responsible for any software installed in the PC and the hard drive(s) by the customer.
  5. PC Depot Sdn. Bhd. (PKU Technology Sdn Bhd) is not responsible for any data loss whatsoever.
  6. Any item after 1 month from date of verbal / email / printed quotation / invoice will be deemed unwanted by customer and will be scrapped. Labor charge & shipping cost will be applied if the warranty is over 1 year (from the date of invoice).
  7. Part replacement fee will be advised ahead via phone or email before the repair by our vendor/supplier/service center.
  8. After we receive your online warranty form, we will generate a Warranty Number and sending address to you via email to you within 1-2 working days. (only apply for customer who provide the correct information)
  9. After received the Warranty Number, please send the defective product within 14 days to us, for avoid any inconvenience in future.
  10. Deliver the product, including its accessories, freight prepaid, in either its original packaging or packaging affording an equal degree of protection to the products in its original packaging. (postage & risk will be borne by customer)
